When delivering 30 minute lessons for the DofE, you’ll focus on developing your finger stamina, chord knowledge and some theory. At least half hour’s additional practice is required to compete either your bronze, silver or gold.

60 minute lessons will be a mixture of guitar and theoretical learning. Using ABRSM’s grade 1 music theory workbook, general music theory knowledge will advance as will your guitar playing skills. Additional practice time is also expected.

Learning online doesn’t retract from results. Completing your skill section is personalised. Your guitar journey is also individual meaning your bronze, silver or gold award differs from somebody else’s.

If you’re local you can learn face to face. Face to face lessons are provided in a spacious, distraction free room. Parents are expected to be present for the duration of the lesson.
