Electric guitar tuition
Where ever you are.

Where ever you are.

Learning rock guitar is a fun and powerful way for beginners and intermediates to build strong musical skills. It teaches essential techniques like power chords, scales, and soloing while keeping things exciting with iconic riffs and expressive playing. Whether you’re jamming alone or with others, rock guitar helps you grow faster and stay motivated.

Jazz guitar helps you develop a deep understanding of music through rich chord voicing, improvisation, and advanced theory. It challenges you to think critically and creatively, pushing your technique and musical expression to new levels. Finger-style also crosses over into the ‘jazz guitar category’.

Learning metal music is a great way to build technical skill, precision, and power on your instrument. It challenges you with fast picking, complex rhythms, advanced techniques like palm muting, tapping, and sweep picking. Metal also sharpens your timing, strengthens your fingers, and improves your ability to play both rhythm and lead with intensity.
In person, online or ‘on demand’?

Theory or Guitar
30 minute electric guitar lessons whether online, in person or a mix would be suitable if you’re a beginner. You’ll be developing your rhythm, dexterity, song structure and knowledge. Although it’s not ideal you could request an hour every other week.

Guitar & some theory
30 to 45 minute lessons will allow you for deeper learning, more meaningful interaction, and a less rushed experience. Because you’ll have more time, there’s more time for re-enforcement and muscle memory development.

Guitar & or theory
You’ll make even more progress with 60 minute tuition you’ll develop confidence and your own practicing goals whilst ‘practicing how to practice’. You can also mix up your lesson with some grade 1 music theory using the ABRSM syllabus.
